Bishop Dr. Tonya Sumner Brown is an internationally recognized mental health counselor, spiritual leader, and humanitarian with more than 33 years of counseling experience serving youth, adults, couples, and families.
She is the CEO, President, and Founder of Operation Street Harvest, Inc. (OSH), a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing professional counseling services, education, outreach, and community empowerment for underserved populations.
Dr. Brown is also the visionary behind the OSH Legacy Family Network, an expanding system of programs designed to strengthen communities through counseling, leadership development, youth engagement, and outreach initiatives. These programs include:

Dr. Brown holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Public Relations and Advertising with a minor in Business Administration. She also holds dual Master of Divinity degrees in Pastoral Care & Counseling and Sociology of Religion, a post-master’s two-year certification in Hospital and Hospice Chaplaincy, and a Doctorate of Psychology (Psy.D).

Personal Life Dr. Brown has been married to Lester Brown for over 31 years, and together they have seven children. Dr. Tonya brought two sons and Lester brought four sons to the marriage and together they adopted a daughter. They diligently continue to support the mission and growth of Operation Street Harvest, Inc. and its many community initiatives.
